Rock carvings

About 10 km from the lodge, a short drive, are prehistoric rock carvings, some of the oldest traces of people on this coast.

Nearby stands a row of old fishing houses still at the water's edge, and the site opens onto wide views across the strait.

Quiet and easy to walk once you are there, any time of year, best in the long light of summer or the low winter sun.
