Welcome to Vikran — a small, family-run retreat on the Arctic coast, just 30 minutes from Tromsø.

Mountains meet the sea, tides shape the rhythm of the day, and the silence becomes part of your experience.

Vikran is not a typical fishing camp.
It is a place for those who seek space, nature and a deeper connection to the North. 

Troll Havn is our unique project exploring Nordic folklore, mythology and the unseen layers of the Arctic landscape.

You can go fishing the whole year around. Vikran is located at the seashore of famous Rystraumen. Streams bring a lot of fish and mountains hide from strong winds. We have all fishing areas nearby. Cod, wolffish and halibut can be caught just 100 meters away from Vikran.

Hiking trails of different levels are easily accessible and lead to beautiful viewpoints.

Northern lights are visible from September until April. The awesome view on Tromsø with dancing Northern lights is an experince of the must. We are privileged to be able to shoot the Northern lights right from the terrace in front of the building.

Our location, clean air, nature, excellent fishing, amazing views and hospitality is the key to your perfect holidays. By the secret, you can meet living trolls at Vikran, both outside and inside the building.
